Thai Airways has been awarded first place for "Best First Class Airline Lounge" of the 2009 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held in Hamburg. It is a recognition for the quality premium from passengers who have experienced the airline's first class lounge at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
